Ongoing Features Of This Blog

Food For Thought: Highlighting the culinary arts. I consider myself quite the amateur chef. I had thoughts of opening a tea shoppe and or running a food truck in my life. If I’m not making the food I post it’s also a general love of food that family and friends make and various restaurant experiences while I am out and about.

Blue Turtle ComiX: This occasional funny animal comic series is about a blue colored turtle and his assorted animal friends, namely his best buddy a red pig named Depressed Pig. I originally started this comic as a memoir of sorts but it grew into a collaborative effort with multiple authors I met here on WordPress. That collaborative door is always open.

The 27th Angel: I started dabbling in making music in the early 2000’s going so far as having a Myspace page and making mix cd’s for friends. I am definitely not the best musician, I play by ear..at times quite badly. I prefer to design soundscapes and venture into experimental music. I have tried multiple genres but I am more content evoking moods with my soundscapes than getting a groove on. I use loop music programs and real instruments/sounds to produce muy pieces. The name is an homage to my late Mom who was born on April 27th.

Short Story Saturday: Every Saturday at approximately 10 am I drop my podcast I produce at Anchor Fm which is a reading of various works of fiction and nonfiction by myself and authors I’ve met through WordPress. All genres are welcome. If you are interested in having your story read/dramatized by me drop me a line at shortstorysaturday1970@gmail.com
