So there is a local joint that specializes in Poutine, my wife and I tried it few months back at one of their food trucks while finishing our Christmas shopping.
It was really good and quite filling. Where as I got the classic with bacon which was fries, topped with gravy, cheese curds, American or Canadian Bacon (i stuck with American) and scallions.
My wife tried the holiday edition which was the classic topped with stuffing, cranberry sauce and sprouts.
Definitely a worthy treat on a cheat day, I definitely wouldn’t make a habit of eating like this though.
If you ever find yourself visiting South Side Bethlehem, Pa. Give a visit to The Flying V for some authentic poutine…well for a Canadian who married an American to turn it into their own style.
