How was Weird: The Al Yankovic Story?

It was ok untill it went way off the rails stupid, i couldn’t finish when it became a highly fantastical fictionalized account of his life.

That’s too bad. He’s someone I listened to growing up, so I had some curiosity. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah no problem. I mean if you go in expecting nothing but farce i suppose its ok but it just went too too far off base for me to stay interested.

I was just going to ask you what you thought of Weird as I didn’t make it farther than maybe 30 minutes if that. Thanks for being another who thought it was ridiculous.

Yeah once Madonna entered the story it derailed into utter stupidity

You watch a lot of movies. I haven’t been in a theater in a decade or more. Never felt comfortable in them. Last year I saw two movies at home: The People We Hate at the Wedding & Glass Onion.

Movie buff at heart. Have probably seen a million movies of all genres in my lifetime.

WOW! That’s quite a list! 👏👏👏 It may be less than before but it still some terrific movie-watching. 🤗

Trust me LA, i used to be on the letterboxd app. I was up to like 10,000 films seen from silent to whenever i was on the app (that number included foreign films as well).

Always nice to hear from another movie-buff-theater-goer. I’m now curious to go back in time and see how many movies we’ve seen at the movies. I actually have a list of ’em…just haven’t done anything with it…yet.
