Some seriously good BBQ in South Whitehall Township, a suburb of Allentown, Pa. Since 2004.
I got the burnt ends brisket platter (topped with green peppers, onions, mushrooms and american cheese like a cheese steak without the roll) with damn good sweet potato fries, damn good corn bread and mediocre coleslaw. My wife had her usual, pulled pork with sweet potato fries and applesauce.
My department threw an end of Summer picnic on a cold low 50’s second day of Fall at Monocacy Creek Park in Bethlehem, Pa. I had fresh peppers, corn bread, brisket, potato salad and mac n cheese, two things they only offer for catered affairs.
