I asked my friend & coworker Tom Matteo if I could snap his photo for a blog post. He obliged. This is the original photo. I wasn’t sure where I was going with this, but I changed it around a bit and came up with the 2nd photo.

With the 2nd photo, I made it black & white, cropped it, slightly changed the lighting around his face and added a frame to make it look like filmstrip.

With this final version, I changed the frame, made the lighting on his face a bit more dramatic and added a filter to note deterioration.
I then composed a piece of music, that would be best appreciated with headphones to accompany the photo.
Enjoy
Love seeing all the stages in the process 👍

👍yeah that might be the future of the new blog, showing a process at least for more elaborate works.
