Bonus Food For Thought: Chili & Chills…

So, last night was our monthly dinner and a movie get-together with my brother and his partner Earl. I made dinner, Jess made a dessert red velvet cake with sugar-free vanilla pudding fluff icing (not pictured) then we hunkered down to watch the classic 1979 horror film Phantasm.

At Christmas, my brother gave us a parmesan beer bread mix. We don’t drink so I decided instead to make a nonalcoholic ginger beer poblano pepper sharp cheese beer bread. A sweet & spicy bit of goodness.

For the meal I simmered for hours a Bison-Sweet Pepper-Corn-Onion-Tomato-Black Bean-Goya Malta Chili. We had cheese, fried crispy onions, and sour cream for topping.

Damn Tasty.
