The little one-man podcast that keeps on chugging, despite the fact that I’m no longer profiting from it. It is truly a labor of love and a testament to a hell of a lot of great writers I have met at WordPress. I don’t plan on doing this podcast forever, it’s set to conclude in 2024.

I do plan to have extra long episodes like this one for #75, 100, 150, 175, and the final one so if anyone out there is interested in offering a story that hasn’t already, drop me a line at shortstorysaturday1970@gmail.com

  2. 12 likes but only 4 listens ? Come on people seriously? Reaching 50 episodes with ongoing dwindling audience seriously makes me want to throw in the towel. I just don’t understand why some people only choose to like these posts without actually listening. The only time I look at stats is for the podcast and despite this milestone it’s disheartening when I get blanket likes here on WordPress for the podcast 😔👎🤬

  5. Apologies for getting to this late my friend – busy week at work this week so never found the time.

    But it was definitely worth the wait!! An eclectic mix of stories for your 50th episode all told in fine fashion as always 👍

    Summer of 88 was a triumph – in the telling if not in the experience 😉🖤
