Stripe/Anchor Resolution: If both companies strive for less than stellar customer service…both are winners…

It’s finally over. After receiving a text from a 6 digit number 787473 (with a conflicting message that read more like it was from Stripe than Anchor because there was link to Stripe.

See Below:

After being unsure of who the message was from and then getting zero response to my reply, I emailed both companies’ support. After over 20 emails from Stripe and about 10 different support specialists, this was their response.

I’m

I also received a response from Anchor and yes they did deposit my $5.31 to my bank account. With Anchor deleting my Stripe account it is now irreversible to go back to utilizing Stripe, but ya know what, my audience is pretty set in stone and small, I personally don’t see much growth and I am okay with that. Plus the week-long hassle it took with Stripe to update my phone number was just ridiculous.

    1. Yeah.. it’s a shame it lead to me deleting the stripe account which unfortunately is a permanent decision on Anchors part. I mean it was nice to get the $5.31 deposited to my account but the weeks worth of hassle getting there truly sucked.

    1. It wasn’t about the money, it was a damn phone number being updated. I was hoping to reach the $15 payout but Anchor gives you two options for solution.. discontinue their association with Stripe (who I had a major problem communicating with just to update my phone number so I could access my account) or delete my account altogether with Stripe and get paid from Anchor but the deletion would irreversible. Honestly, the way I see it both companies pretty much suck. But, I will continue making my podcast through Anchor.
