BOYS WILL BE BOYS (Written for Susana Leonard Hills 11th Annual Halloweensie Writing Contest)…

Davey & Ritchie set out in the night with mischief intentions in mind. Hoping to egg the scariest house they could find. They happened upon a street with nary a light, using their glow-in-the-dark glowsticks, they discovered such a sight. Ritchie taunted Davey to throw his eggs, yet Davey froze in fear with goosebumps running up and down his spine. Oh Goody, declared Ritchie with egg in hand, who threw it at the house, but where did it land? In the hands of the Police Chief who said with a laugh, boys will be boys on Alls Hallow Eve.

      1. Yeah it sucked lol, it sucked even more coming up with a lie as to how the broken eggs got there when I got home. I’m pretty sure my parents knew the real reason but probably felt the gift of guilt was enough punishment for me.
