I have not exhibited as much work in the last decade as I have in my 20’s and 30’s but my 50’s things are just picking up steam, two interviews, two publications, a short stint as an arts editor, podcasting and now this upcoming exhibit for a drawing I am super proud of and made my logo for both my blog and podcast. The letter of acceptance below the art.
Thank you for submitting your work to the open call for submissions for Thinking through Drawing: Works on Paper, Drawings and Sketchbooks from the Collection and Community which will be on view beginning August 31 at the Lehigh University Art Galleries. We were so impressed with all of the diverse and exciting ways artists are utilizing drawing as a means for capturing, investigating and expressing their ideas. We received over 200 submissions!
We are happy to inform you that the digital image you submitted of your artwork, Noir: The First Case, was selected to be featured on a billboard on the South Bethlehem Greenway, in a digital exhibition that will be displayed on a monitor in LUAG’s main galleries, as well as on our website. We will notify you as soon as the exhibition is available online.
In the meantime, please save the date for the Opening Reception and First Friday event on Friday October 1, 6-9 pm.
Thank you and have a wonderful summer!

Unfortunately for me, I am out of town the weekend of the opening reception celebrating 11 years as a couple with my wife at the Edward Gorey House in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
