So first I want to preface by saying with package #3 of 6, I am not satisfied with the Delaware Contemporary Art Take Out 6 month subscription for $130. When I saw what fellow blogger Claudia McGill made way back in February I thought it was very cool and hoped each box would be of the same caliber. I now realize that this is aimed primarily at non creatives and/or children. The occasional free art supplies are cool and I will make more of these off the top of my head poems placed in various locations perhaps the next on my car 😁 but once this subscription runs it’s course I won’t renew.

I really don’t know, I never thought into it. I guess being paired with styles of work in the exhibits, more of a prompt on creating like the featured artist. It just comes across as simple or let’s dumb it down for people. I don’t know. It’s just not for me. If they had multiple approaches to the subscription it might be more of an interest. I just feel they are trying too hard to be all inclusive.

Well I guess I would put the exhibit the idea is paired with as it already is but really go into more depth and detail and if it’s fine art, a style if it’s poetry like this..offer examples of poetic styles.

Maybe not.
But thinking back on the contents previous boxes plus this one I think we can all agree it’s not quite been worth the money 😬🖤

Eh on the contrary..if they are going by 130÷6 that’s about $21 a box…So seems about right, I suppose but at the same I could get quality supplies at discount as well, the whole concept just feels disjointed and dumbed down.

$21.66 per box, less shipping… meh.
I’m fortunate to live near enough to Art Supply Warehouse to purchase online art classes + supplies for a good price!
