The Life & Times of Lil’ Dana Myttis Hedrew (Wild Wood 1978)…

Dear Diary:

Dana Here. Boy, Wild Wood is cool. The motel we are staying in is cool. Mom & Dad got me a purple cat statue as a souvenir. I’m a little scared to go in the water because of that Jaws movie we saw 2 years ago. Donnie is always scaring me that the shark is gonna get me. But, I have been holding onto Mom & Dad’s Hands as we try to hop over the waves. My brother keeps asking if we can rent bikes but it never happens. He’s so mopey.

We were all gonna go into Dracula’s castle but it looks even scarier than Brigantine Castle we see ads for on tv. So Instead we all went on King Kings Adventure. First we are in little carts that take us to different areas of the jungle, but then we have to get out & walk the rest of the way. The coolest thing is at the very end, walking on King Kong’s tongue as we exit his mouth.

The whole family played skee-ball and boy oh boy did we eat a lot of junk food. Then we all took our turns in the photo booth. All in all a very cool trip.
