Something Old Sunday #32 (LVWA Chapbook & Poetry Slams)…

From 2003-2007 I was part of a collective of writers called The Lehigh Valley Writer’s Academy created by local horror author/reporter Steven Walker & The Lehigh Valley Writers Group by aspiring Writer Chris Something or other I just can’t remember that dudes last name LOL. I was also slamming poetry from 2006-2007 with Red Sun Productions Open Mic Nights at Touchstone Theater.

These poems I wrote while a part of LVWA were produced and distributed free at Allentown’s Mayfair Arts Festival in 2004. I also have a photo of me slamming the moon poem at the festival, festering sore featured local dancer/german immigrant Sandra Kessel performing a dance to my slam of the poem festering sore.

The Poems from the Chapbook:

A photo of Sandra Rehearsing the dance for festering sore at my apartment next to a photo of me slamming The Moon is smiling down upon me at Mayfair Festival of the Arts 2004.
