The first film Birds was an experimental vocal/flute looped song.
The Next film/song The Long Road Ahead was originally made for a tv show I produced through the college I went to. The show was called Video Waves, my episode was three short films in an episode called Channel Zero. This first film was originally called Fever and was shot on 8 mm film in 1990 (With an original score by star Chris Cruz erased for this cut of the film showcasing a song I composed called the long road ahead.) This film featured Chris Cruz, John Fritch, Rob Wong and my Mom, Shirl Snyder.
The next short film was a collaboration with local artist/photographer Erik Drumm. Erik acted for me in this film. The Photo’s are two women I dated and two women that were just friends. My friend Frances, Girlfriends Ingrid & Ronit and friend Lourdes. The film/song is called Suffocation. It’s about a guy bummed out from all his failed relationships and being visited by a future self who gives him a scarf that wipes away his depression.
The Final Film/Song was another collaboration with Local Improv Actress Reenie Roach called Rudetastic. It’s about a guy driving and reflecting on an argument with his girlfriend. It does have some elements of humor and I am particularly fond of the wipe technique used between the driving and memories.
