Ideally for my height of 5’7 I should weigh about 140 which is how much I weighed in 1985. By 21 I was 212 lbs, by 25 I was 230 lbs, by 27 I was 250 lbs, at 32 when My Mom Died I ballooned all the way up to 350 and found myself taking pills to control my blood sugar. After trying WW I managed get down to about 330 and off the blood sugar pills. Unfortunately for me my weight stayed here for years, why ? Because I didn’t care enough about how I ate. Plus every time I went to a WW Meeting it felt like Men Bashing.
I have been working out at home or at the gym since 1988 (although I will admit not a whole hell of a lot during lock down with the gym being closed and it raining so much 😦 ) Then in May of 2019 my Dad got sick and died in August, my weight increased yet again to about 340. Then my wife started WW in November and lost about 20 lbs. I decided to put my foot down and try WW again, except this time I would only do it online without meetings and guess what ? With portion control in place and the pandemic/lock down curbing bad habits of buying junk food I managed to lose 40 lbs.
Went up 5 lbs since then, because we celebrated our birthdays with pizza but going back down down the scale again, lost 1 lb 🙂
So here are some progress photos From June of 2019, March of 2020 & April of 2020 🙂 I will get to that 165 !
