There is light…

my tunnel has expanded

trudging through the muck and mire one small step at a time

as i pushed away the stone with my last ounce

he took my hand and lead me forward

for even a man that isn’t very religious

my convictions of faith helped me

lead me

i have not been this ill since i had pneumonia and was hospitalized in the Fall of 1977

my incredible caregiver wife sacrificed her paycheck to nurse me back to health

i broke the fever, i now need to be fever free for 8 days to get out of quarantine

my days are still a challenge, i am nearly ever hungry but also weak at times, standing to shower is at times a real chore

although i am making improvements, this has been a real chore to endure and not how i intended to welcome my 50’s

but the power of prayer and an incredible circle of angels (friends and family) willing to lend a hand in anyway possible has made this a true easter blessing ❤
