Mr. Poor Choices…

stop the excuses

if your wife can lose twenty

Surely you can too

And on that poetic note, I rejoined WW which has helped in the past. My co-worker who is in her 70’s is obese and always out sick suggested WLS. Surgery scares the hell out of me, never had any in my life not looking forward to being sedated for a colonoscopy. Sedation even when I was on head meds caused me anxiety. That fear of not waking up. i go to the gym and do my best to eat healthy but hopefully WW will make me more accountable for what i wrongly shove down my throat when my emotions get the best of me.

I deal with joint and muscle pain which i fear is 1/2 hereditary and 1/2 weight related. Essentially I’d be in pain no matter how fat or thin. But probably not as bad if I was thinner. It’s never excrutiating because I have a high pain threshold unless it’s an injury.

Anyways, baby steps to a healthier 5th decade.
