The Photo on the Left: Me having gained a bit of weight back dealing with my Dad in Hospital for a month, but trying to be positive and empowering in regards to my weight loss journey.

The Photo on the Right: Me having lost 6 lbs after my wife decided to start WW again and doing my best to not eat out often, keep a food journal and go to the gym 4-5 times a week. I have goal to be active 7 days a week in 2020 but not always in regards to the gym.

It has been another challenging year. In January I rekindled and tore down an emotional wall with my Dad that was put in place for over 40 years. It was a nice 4 months ending with Easter Holiday being the best it had ever been in a real long time.

Then he got sick.

And when all seemed hopeless and he put himself in hospice. I became an emotional eater that stopped caring, I was also frustrated because it seemed I was going at everything alone. My wife and I both gained but she then decided to do WW. And now she lost 10 lbs, I’m so proud of her. But, my weight loss goal from two years back was to reach 165 or half my weight by the time I turned 50 this coming April. At this point in time I’d just be happy to kiss the 300’s good bye forever. It’s still a long hard challenging process but I aim to get there. So many people are inspirational to me online and off.
