The Life & Times of Lil’ Dana Myttis Hedrew (Christmas Time)…

me050 Dear Diary: Dana Here,

Boy oh Boy, Christmas has been great. My brother and I put out cookies & milk for Santa the night before and all they’re all gone. We set up the train to go around our fake tree, made some popcorn strings to put around the tree, hung out under the mistletoe which hangs year round in the doorway between the living room and dining room.

I got a bunch of cool things, So did my brother. We’re gonna play some of his games. He got this game called Mouse trap, I got a GI Joe Doll and a tent that he can sleep in. Here I am goofing with my Dad, and opening one of my gifts.

We were watching all the cool tv specials like Rudolph, Frosty & A Charlie Brown Christmas on CBS. And that really funny Laurel & Hardy film March of the Wooden Soldiers. Mom’s not in the photo’s because she is the one that was always taking the photo’s.

All in all a great Christmas. I’ll end with this. When I was even littler Mom took to get my picture taken with Santa..except Santa always smelled funny. As you can see in the first two photo’s I wasn’t big into smiling. That last photo is me giving one of the fakest smiles on the whole universe. That was the last time Mom took me to get those pictures taken. Ha Ha.
