Food For Thought: Beans on Toast

The English eat odd things at times, but I’m sure they think the same of Americans LOL. I’ve heard about Beans on Toast on various shows on BBC Radio and through Fellow Blogger Jo posting such. I just had to give it a try. Granted I used a lower sodium/lower sugar version of beans on wheat toast with some light butter and a side of strawberries & fresh Cauliflower with a 64 Ounce Bottle of water.

  1. HAHAHAHAHA I guess it might be odd if it’s new 😀
    Never thought of adding a side of fruit and veggies to it. did you like beans on toast?
    we also do tinned tomatoes on toast – quite a favourite among some of us! good portion of carbs and veggies in one decent breakfast (or snack) hit! I don’t do tomatoes because I’m a monster with salt when it comes to tomatoes.

    1. Odd to Americans, Its not a staple like it is in England. Plus I used baked beans as opposed to Heinz Beans in Tomato sauce. Which once again isn’t the norm here. If I want that product I have to buy it in an import section of a supermarket.
