Amaterasu…

Amaterasu

Matisyahu

or Just Matt to you

Or M or Deeber Doo

so many names unlike you

I am not Amaterasu

the goddess of the great divinity illuminating heaven

it’s just a silly quiz to note my notes of noteworthy worth, a Vase a Vaz

Like a jammin’ justifying Rastafarian

not be smokin’ or tokin’

that’s not my style

Just stay awhile

beguiled

and baby makes three

smile said the Lord

SMILE down onto me

blessed

  1. Absolutely fabulous Matt! My partner read me this poem, and maybe he was channeling a poet friend of ours, but I felt like I was sitting in some low lit bar in NYC at a pottery slam sipping whiskey sours. Needless to say I loved it 😉 Sorry for the delayed comment, have been fighting off a cold with the weather change here!
