The Brooklyn Art Library is doing this thing where you get a canvas, make a painting, send it back and then they send your painting to someone else and you then get their painting. Ideally this is to start a friendship with a fellow artist of any age/gender from anywhere around the world. In turn you both get a cool little 5X5 painting.
It comes with a note card where you put your name, age, location, contact info via email or social media and what the painting is about.
They also had subject prompts I chose “A lasting Mark”
For the about I wrote: Abstract Expression- Painting in the moment while listening to the Trevor Nelson Show on BBC Radio 2. Acrylics.
